Did you know that Italy's "Slow Food" movement often showcases American craft beers because craft brewing shares many characteristics with fine food?  We think the Italians are onto something! Thus a major highlight of the Fresh Hop Ale Fest is our own Brewers’ Dinners.

Several local chefs will carefully compose unique menus specifically matched with a selection of brews. Those quaffs, naturally, come directly from Festival Breweries. In addition, representatives from each brewery will be on hand to enlighten you about mash, malt, and most importantly, HOPS!

While you’re waiting, you can exercise your palate at home!  Here’s some advice from Epicurious:   How to Pair Food and Beer -Everything you need to know about matching meals with lager, ale, stout, and other beers
